Hey there! My name is Patrick Jackman, though I often go by the moniker “Rally Potential” online.

I'm a UX / product designer based in Nebraska, and I've been in this line of work for over 7 years.

Work Interests

While I love most aspects of design, I'm especially drawn to the early stages of discovery and solutioning. At that point in time, teams are often trying to understand what to pursue and why. Amidst that haziness and initial pathfinding, there’s a unique challenge and energy that I really enjoy. It’s fun to uncover opportunities, learn scrappily, and build up momentum as a team.

Personal Interests

Oh boy, I have a bunch of hobbies. When I'm not designing things, you can probably find me:

• Literally always drinking coffee
• Riding my bike or doing some sort of exercise
• Playing games with friends (Overwatch and Apex are my mains at the moment)
• Going down a YouTube rabbit hole on VR, design, or some obscure piece of science or history
• Exploring out in nature
• Making / practicing music (if you know who Boards of Canada are, we could probably be best friends)
